Mandala Experience

The word Mandala comes from Sanskrit, Indian language developed more than 2.300 years ago, and means “circle”.

Mandala is a circular drawing organized around a unifying, integrative center and represents wholeness and truth; its design reminds us about our integration within ourselves, and our relation with all that exist.

Creating Mandalas is a safe and creative process of self discovery and self centering toward personal growth; meditating with them may help to become aware and perhaps change how we see ourselves, our own life purpose, our relations, and even the planet.

As a Certified Mandala Facilitator, I playfully guide you through your own journey using meditation, sound, music, visualization and diverse materials for you to connect with your inner symbols and images creating circular drawings, your own Mandalas.

Individually or in groups the Mandala Experience provides a safe and private space for self expression.

The practice of creating Mandalas as a sacred art and spiritual science of consciousness originated thousands of years ago in the India, and are seen by Tibetans as an ideal diagram of the cosmos, a meditation tool that can lead to enlightenment.

As mentioned by Bailey Cunningham in the Mandala Journey to the Center “In the Christian Cathedrals and gardens the labyrinth is a mandalic pattern used as a tool for centering and contemplation”. Native Americans use them in healing rituals. The original purpose of creating Mandalas was as a meditation instrument to awaken to one’s true Self.

The Mandala was used as pattern of wholeness by Swiss psychoanalyst Carl Gustav Jung, who believed that the Mandalas created spontaneously in dreams or waking life were unconscious attempts to heal one’s inner self, he adopted this word to describe the circle drawings he and his patients created as part of the healing process. Jung considered the Mandala as a reflection of the Self; for him the Mandala expresses the urge to live our potential, our whole personality, to become who we are.

In a safe space you are invited to allow yourself to pay attention to the symbols of the unconscious that will appear in your drawings, and also to your dreams, to find awareness, to connect with your true Self.

Your inner search is a healing process where you can find harmony, balance, and wholeness through the drawing and analysis of the Mandala.
